Eckardt Bihler, director of Forturex GmbH since its inception in 2001. 
Eckardt graduated with a PhD in solid state physics from the University of Stuttgart in 1990 with a thesis on piezoelectricity in polymers. In his 30+ year career in the microelectronics industry he collected considerable experience in ceramic and organic microelectronic packaging, semiconductor design, photovoltaic and printed circuit board processing technologies. He worked for IBM, Weidmueller, AT&S and most recently Dyconex in Switzerland. Eckardt is an inventor of 10+ patents.
